Going out and getting your nails done, as lovely as it is and as appealing the result, can take quite a lot of time and if you don’t have the time, it can be an impossible task. Nobody likes boring nails either, and nobody likes to have uneven crooked nails. Which is why I have just the thing for you.

Elegant Touch kindly sent me their new Girls On Tour Collection to try out, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. I’ve been trying to make the time to go out and get my nails done again for ages but with being lazy, having a job and a blog to keep up with comes with its repercussions, so I was very eager to try out these beauties and finally have a fresh set of nails.

The application was very easy, as all press on nails tend to be, you’re provided with a small tube of glue and you apply it to each nail evenly. I’m going to say though: This is some powerful glue. As soon as my nails were applied I did the stick test, which is obvious by name: I applied a lot of pressure onto my nails to see if they’d break away, and that ish was stuck – which is exactly what you want. There’s going to be no accidentally ripping these off or feeling the temptation due to lifting, it just won’t happen.

My favourite nails were the City Slickin’ set. I really like how beachy they look and I think that the blue tone is beautiful.

Each set of nails has its own personality too, if you’re going to a festival and want some pazazz to your nails then you may prefer Super Kawaii or Beachin’ Baby for their pretty jewels and interesting colours. I definitely think that the Urban Fever and City Slickin’ nails are more appropriate for work though, and if like me you work in an office, they won’t get in the way.

The nails themselves aren’t ridiculously shaped, they fit each nail nicely without digging into the skin at the sides or without causing irritation, once they’re on you barely even know that they’re stuck to your nails and it’s really satisfying to tap away at your keyboard with them.

I greatly care about the appearance of my nails, they’re something that I think says a lot about a person, and these falsies are fabulous for setting a great impression, having some fun and wasting no time!

These look fab! I go for press-on / glue-on nails a lot more these days as it can be done from the comfort of my bed – finding the time to get it done in a salon isn’t always practical!
