I’ve made a real effort this year to prioritise my skin and really push in the trying-new-products department, I’ve even splurged on pricier products and I’ve had the opportunity to try out a terrific one too so I’ve decided to share with you what I’m currently using.

I definitely am not a firm believer that you have to pay more to get greater quality, but I do believe that once you find a great product that works for you, it’s best to stick to it. Which is what I have done. I’ve never been one to spend loads and loads on skincare, I stuck with the Simple range for years, but I then began noticing my breakouts were becoming more frequent and that my skin was more irritated than usual, so I then switched up to what I’ve been using now.

The latest addition to my skincare regime has been the Skin Kissed serum – I wrote a pretty lengthy review of it and showed the effects it has on my Instagram page, so definitely give that a look, but this is my new favourite product in my routine. I apply it once in the morning all over my face, this varies from 6:30am to 10am though depending on what day it is, and then again at around 9pm. As I said in my Instagram post: it’s a miracle worker. This was sent to me by Skin Kissed though, it’s super pricey for what I usually go for but I’m definitely planning on buying more once I run out.

What it contains

  • Vitamin C
  • Hyaluronic Acid
  • Collagen

Cost: £29.95

The first thing I do though in my routine is exfoliate. I’ve been using this Bee Good exfoliator for years just because I really like it – it’s as simple as that. Exfoliators for me are all the same, they do the same job and have the same texture, but I’ve just taken a liking to this one (and its price tag), I use this exfoliator a lot though, because I also tend to exfoliate before I put on my makeup, I’ve noticed that it definitely helps to keep my foundation from separating and also makes it easier to apply, but this is also used at the end of the day before bed.

What it contains

  • British WildFlower honey
  • British Propolis
  • British Beeswax
  • Milled Lavender Flowers
  • Wheatgram Oil
  • British Camelina Sativa Seed Oil
  • British Crambe Seed Oil

Cost: £10.50

My favourite moisturiser is the nuxe Crème Prodigieuse but I only have a sample size (boo!) which also means I’m running out – but it’s really nice. This is supposed to help with anti-stress on your skin and it feels really nice when you put it on. My favourite thing about it though, is the smell. It’s so fresh and my skin always thanks me for using it with how smooth it feels afterwards.

What it contains

  • No Parabens
  • Non-Comedogenic
  • 91.4% natural origin ingredients

Cost: £21.50

For my entire body, usually after I shower, I really like to put on a body milk. This is something I’ve recently gotten myself into doing, I’ve been practicing slowly introducing new healthy habits into my every day life, and taking care of my skin that isn’t just on my face is one of those things. I use one by Ritual – it has a very soft, flower scented fragrance to it and it doesn’t leave any film feeling texture on your skin after you’re done with it. This is something you can use twice or three times a day since you can never moisturise your body too much, plus my tattoos have been thanking me for it since the skin isn’t so dry anymore.

What it contains

  • Organic Rice Milk and Cherry Blossom

Cost: £19.50

Finally, I’ve included a L’Oreal face mask but truth be told, I’ve never used it. However, I do love to use a face mask and I did get into the habit of using one weekly. It’s great for your skin and even just makes you feel good. I’ve had a few favourites over the years, from those cheap ones you get in Asda to a very expensive gold pigmented one that I had received in a Glossy Box. My favourites tend to be the charcoal ones though, they’re great for black heads and make my pores appear smaller which is a win.

I recommend:

So that’s it for my skincare favourites, I’ve really been making an effort to keep a routine going and I do think I’ve been doing really well with it. My skin definitely loves the treatment, and in the long run, I’ll be glad for getting into the routine.
